Thanks for your comments below everyone. I'm pondering them all this weekend as I take a much needed bread from work (thanks, Redsy!) and just take time for myself in general. In the meantime, let's talk about some fun stuff.
But first, I need your advice:
Bunkbeds. The girls are finally at the age where we think (I know) that they can share a room. They've been sleeping together in Wallie's room off and on for a couple of weeks and we think (humor us, okay?) the time is right for bunkbeds. Calling all bunkbed experts: help? We know we want solid wood ones in white or light wood, and ones that can eventually be used as separate beds without looking lame. Beyond that, what else should we consider? You're going to talk us out of it aren't you. That's fine, too.
Ok, on to other random stuff:
Mad Men. (Look at the gorgeous photos in the photo gallery.) Thursdays at 10PM on AMC. Are you watching? No? Go set your TiVo's right. now. so we can start discussing. I dig everything about this show, especially the snappy dialog. It also reminds me how far women have come since then. This is the best show on television. Trust me.
I think I might have to make this for dinner tomorrow night If I could, I would marry bacon.
And speaking of yumminess: Safeway carries a bottled organic blood orange soda sparkling juice (their "O" brand) that's really delicious. With a splash or two of Campari in it.
