Aren't they pretty? I love dyed eggs!
What are you doing for Easter? (Those that celebrate it?)
We plan a very low key weekend. Dying some egg with food coloring (since those kits are all made in China), an egg hunt, an undoubtedly enviro-friendly service at hippie church, lunch with family and then dinner of Fettucine Alfredo with handmade fettucine--I'll do a tutorial (sister's request), lemony lamb chops with gremolata (parsley/lemon/garlic), and either spinach salad or asparagus. Maybe both. I grew up eating lamb for Easter, so I always joke that it's the "Lamb Holiday."
I bought some supplies to bake something for dessert but don't know what yet. But eggs, sugar, butter, chocolate, and whipping cream, I got. (Chocolate mousse, maybe?)
If you need some ideas for Easter fare, I pulled together some recipes for you. However you spend your weekend, I hope it's a relaxing one.
